College tutoring
Undergraduate courses move quickly, and one unclear idea early on can follow you through an entire semester. Tell us the course and where it stopped making sense, and the team looks for a tutor who covers that material.

Disciplines
Find the area your course sits in. Course titles and numbering differ between institutions, so send the course name and, if you have one, the syllabus — that is what the team matches against.
Course-level support across the professional disciplines, where a tutor for that course is available.
This list is illustrative rather than exhaustive. Prep2Perfection is an independent tutoring service and is not affiliated with any college or university.

How matching works
The Prep2Perfection team reviews your request and looks for a suitable tutor, rather than asking families to choose from an unfiltered list.
Who it is for
Tutoring supports students working through difficult material as well as high-performing students who want enrichment, exam preparation or help with more advanced topics.
If the match is wrong
If the tutor is not the right fit, let the team know and Prep2Perfection will help arrange another suitable match.
Getting started
The team begins looking for a suitable tutor after receiving your request. Same-day matching may be possible, but it is not guaranteed and depends on the subject, academic level, preferred lesson format, location and tutor availability.
How it works
Most requests start with a student who knows something is wrong but not exactly what. Narrowing that down is the first part of the job, not a prerequisite for asking.
Name the course and the most recent thing that did not make sense — a lecture, a problem set, a returned midterm. If the real gap turns out to be a prerequisite from an earlier course, that is a common finding and the tutor will say so.
The team reviews the request against the course and the level, and looks for a tutor who teaches it. Send the syllabus or textbook if you have them, since two courses with the same title can cover very different ground.
Bring a problem from your current course. Working through something real is a far better test of whether the tutor suits you than an introductory chat.
Pricing
These rates apply to online monthly tutoring packages.
| Monthly package | Rate per hour |
|---|---|
| 5 hours | $39 |
| 10 hours | $36 |
| 15 hours | $33 |
| 20 hours | $30 |
One-time sessions, advanced college subjects and local or in-person tutoring may be priced differently.
Feedback
Feedback from families we have worked with. These reviews are company-wide, not specific to this course or location.
Great job
She helps me a lot!
Everything is going well thank you.
Questions
Yes, and it is a common starting point. Describe the course and the last few things that went badly — a topic in a lecture, a problem set, a returned test. A tutor can usually trace the difficulty back to its source in the first session or two, and quite often it sits in earlier material rather than the current unit.
Specific courses. Two classes sharing a title can cover different material, use different notation and assess differently, so the team matches against your actual course — which is why sending the course name and syllabus makes a noticeable difference.
A tutor can help you understand the material an assignment is testing, work through similar problems and check that your reasoning holds up. They will not complete graded work for you — that would put your academic standing at risk and would not teach you anything the next exam will not expose.
Yes. Exam preparation usually works best with some lead time, so the sessions can cover the material properly rather than becoming a race through a review sheet. Say which exam and when it is in your request so the team knows what timeline it is matching against.
Monthly packages work the same way, with the hourly rate set by the number of hours selected. One-time sessions, advanced college subjects and local or in-person tutoring may be arranged and priced differently, so confirm your course with the team when you request a tutor.
Lesson times depend on tutor availability. Include the days, times and time zone that work for you, including any irregular weeks, so the team can look for a tutor who can teach at those hours.
No. Prep2Perfection is an independent tutoring service. Tutors work with the material your course covers, but there is no partnership, endorsement or affiliation with any institution, and tutoring is not a substitute for the academic support your college provides.
